RESUMO

The present research accost the question about constitution of the space, starting from the frontiers and the limits with its surroundings, searching for an understanding of how to configure the street space and how it relates to the performance itself, emphasizing the aspect of the pirate state, where the watching crowd is robed of its routine stage. In the first part, about the city, a parallel is created between a simple metaphor like a house/street and a public/private space, relating contemporary philosophies of Gilles Deleuze, Félix Guattari, Michel Foucault and others. In the second part, discourses about the use of the body as an agent (in action) for an artistic creation using guidelines from the Performance Art. For that, utilize as a fountain of analytical resource the work of artists like Marina Abramovic and your partner Ulay, and Ana Mendieta. In the third part, bring an artistic production to the street space. Showing some work of urban intervention and street performance, in Brazil, creating considerations about the concretization of these works. At last, analyzing about the practical experiences accomplished by the author during her masters research, being: Casulo, collective performance in a tree of a public space; Experimentos Gramíneos, individual performance based on circulating the streets, where the performer was dressed on a clothe built of artificial grass; and Picola-Psicose Colateral, individual performance where the performer roller skates on a public commercial space in the city, with the entire body tied up by silicon strings and a grape ice cream pop on top of the head. To finalize, exhibit some considerations of the performance experience, in the street, from its characteristics.
