Ensino-aprendizagem teorico-pratico da disciplina adminstração em enfermagem pelo "Metodo de projetos"

RESUMO

The present study furnishes a brief history of nursi_ in Brazil in generat and at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in particular, focussing on administrative aspects and the undergraduate curriculum, especially the theoretical instruction provided in the course of nursing administration and the simultaneous supervised internship, which for the past ten years has utilized the project methodology. In an attempt to provide a better understanding of the dynamics of teaching and learning, the final reports submitted during the ten years in which research has been required were analyzed. The research involved tR_ee disti!lct yet simultaneous phases: a survey of the documents available relating to the history of nursing, an analysis of research reports elaborated for the internship, and an anatyst_ of semi-structured interviews conducted with nurses who have graduated from UNICAMP, using the Content Analysrs of LAURENCE BARDIN (1977). The testimony of students graduating between 1981-1995 revealed the following categories: theoretical content, instructional strategy, evaluation, practical application, time investment, location of internship, academic supervision, quality of internship, descriptive- final reports, and final research reports. For each of these categories, responses were separated into favorable and unfavorable reports, with specific suggestions of the students interviewed also considered. For the evaluation of the teaching-Iearning process the reports of the experience of the individuais interviewed suggested that certain aspects of the theoretical content, teaching strategy, and location of internship should be improved, whereas criticisms and proposals for specific curricular changes emphasized the importance of continuing the use of project methodology
