RESUMO

The objective of this study was to evaluate the technical viability of the zooplÃncton enriched with acids graxos used in the feeding of pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus) and curimbatà (Prochilodus lineatus) larvaes. In the Station of Fish farming of the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), was made the isolation of stumps, the cladocerans and copepods culture and the enrichment experimental, was made by the emulsion containing fish oil with 8,5% of DHA in 5 levels (0,0; 0,1; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5 g of oil) . The experiment was in the randomly blocks design, with 5 treatments and 4 replicates. The profile of fatty acids was analised by gas cromatograph . In the Environmental Station of Itutinga of the Energy Company of Minas Gerais (CEMIG) it was developmented, for 5 days, for each species the pacu larvicultura and curimbatÃ, using 30 plastic boxes with capacity of 30 liters water and continuous renewal, in a density of 10 powderlarvas per liter; they were appraised 6 feeding treatments: zooplÃncton without enrichment, zooplÃncton with 4 different enrichment levels (0,1; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5 g of oil) and artÃmia nÃuplios, in a desingn of randomly blocks with 6 treatments and 5 repetitions. The performance of larvaes as well as length, weight, survival and resistance to the stress were evaluated. The results shown that the zooplÃncton presents profile of fatty acids with high monosaturated and poliinsaturated percentage with high content of acid araquidonic and linoleic, due to enrichement with DHA, AA and acid linoleic. The zooplÃncton enriched with fatty acids is viable in the pacu larvicultura appropriate performance of the larvaes in the length, the survival and the resistance to the stress, being the proportion of present AA/DHA/EPA in this appropriate zooplÃncton for this species. Therefore the highest percentages of acid linolenic associated to low percentages of EPA shown to be adequate proportions for curimbatà due to better length, weight, survival and resistance to the stress when fed with artÃmia
