RESUMO
Until XVIII century, one of the most preocupation of the university was the developed and transmition of the accumulated knowledge, i.e. , the most important preocupation was the teaching. However, new exigencies became to be done to university. The production of news knowledgements became the teaching basic function. Actually, the university objectives summarize to: teaching, research and envelopment to community in accordance with the university reform (1st article, 5.540/68 Law), setting up the undissociability between teaching and research. At beginning of 90th the publical universities of são Paulo states worry with the evaluating of assigned functions in teaching, research and envelopment to community terms. In a way, we ask: What would be underling of curriculum alteration, professional formation, teaching actuation and academical production by physical education area? In the first chapter we show the professional formation, that s in the Physical Education legislation, it s acceptable by 894/69 and 215/87 federation Physical Education Council. Later, in the second chapter, we verify the professional formation conception formulated by the university reports and by the professors of Physical Education from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) and Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp). In the thid chapter we make to evident the following subjects: accoding the "intelectual" and "hegemony" conceptions from GRAMSCI (1987), what is the role developed by the Physical Education professional? Do the Physical Education professionals constitute a hegemonic category? And following the "ideology" and "utopy" conceptions from MANNHEIM(1950), how the intelectual production about the formation of this professional was being rewritten? We realize interviews among the Physical Education professors trying to understand their obligations to the university such as: (a) the education federal council speeches 215/87, (b) books and articles production about the professional formation, (c) the university activities and its statutes, which relate the indissociability activities of teaching and research. The interviews analysis was developed in the chapter fourth. We can verify that the thinking expressed in our area, by legislation, curricular documents, books, articles and statements, shows a most interest on the superation of a Physical Education noncritical, alienating competitivist, and reductionist of a given social condiction. This thinking presents itself however utopic searching for a ideologic condiction of superation. It is incongruent with the reality where s the speeches take place, formulating a reality transcendence, and if taken in practice, the natural order would be destroied partial or completely. What we can take note about Physical Education are intelectual groups in constant competition, and according to their world representation and specific knowledge about the area, presents intelectual expressions of groups figthing to the power. The construction of the hegemonic thinking by the Physical Education professionals, will can be understood only like a process, also translated in the intelectual reform of the society. In this way we can assume an activity resulting in the construction, not only of new political speeches, but of a new culture too. Resulting in the construction of a new historical bloch in order to the submission of an early critical culture, realizing an union of social and political forces, tracing and diffusing a new world conception
