RESUMO

As an economically viable activity, the cultivation of marine shrimp is growing worldwide. Brazil, particularly the Northeast region, has been responsible for much of the domestic production of the crustacean. The estuarine environments and freshwater tanks are critical to species of the genus Vibrio, bacterioses.Encontrados causative agents of the dominant microbiota in the development stages of larval shrimp, these bacteria can be isolated both from healthy animals and the environment itself. This research aimed to study the diversity of species of the genus Vibrio in four estuaries of the State of CearÃ. Three of them have activity of shrimp and the fourth shows no such activity and is used as the control experiment. The points studied were located in rivers: Chora, Pirangi, Jaguaribe and Package. We analyzed samples of water and sediment of rivers and also selected the channel to capture, the nursery and the channel of discharge of a farm for cultivation of marine shrimp, L. vannamei. As a result, were isolated and identified 138 strains of samples from the environment (water and sediment of rivers) and 25 samples collected from the farm. The most frequent species of Vibrio identified in the environmental samples were: Vibrio logei, V. parahaemo / yticus, V. fIuvia / s and V. cholerae. While, on the farm were: V. logei and V. cholerae. Considering that: (a) the diversity of species of the genus Vibrio is much greater in estuaries than in the shrimp farm, and (b) the diversity is similar in estuaries with (Pirangi Rios, crying and Jaguaribe) and without (Rio package) of crop farms, it is concluded that, apparently, the shrimp does not cause environmental impact in the diversity of the genus Vibrio.
