Dante: um percurso pela literatura brasileira

RESUMO

Every great literary work has a starting point in a group of writers and poets which gather together in the innermost regions of he who writes. We want to highlight the central role Danteâs presence plays in the making of great literary works in Brazilian Literature. Apart from being the author of one of Westernâs greatest literary works, Dante left his presence in more recent literary expressions, such as those of Brazilian writers. Starting from an analysis of works by Ãlvares de Azevedo, Castro Alves, Augusto dos Anjos and GuimarÃes Rosa we will attempt to reveal the way in which an interpretation of the Commedia proved important in the aesthetic formation of those authors. Based on this, we will outline an overview of the Florentine poetâs presence in Brazilian Literature
