RESUMO

This study deals with the objective and subjective forms of the capitalâs control over the work. This control forms are analyzed according to the directrix and principles of the Brazilian Quality and Productive Programs (Programa Brasileiro da Qualidade e Produtividade â PBQP) in the context of the Brazilian managerial re-structural process, in the 1990 period. Our goal is to analyze the mechanism through which the capitalâs control forms over the work are re-oriented, to correspond to âquality controlâ and âlife qualityâ ideas present in the above mentioned programs. We defend the point of view that the management re-structural process, beyond to promote technological changes in the production, requires control forms which replace the work subordination to the capitalistic determinations and fall directly upon the subjective dimension of the work. We learn in the analysis that the management re-structural process deals with required concepts and procedures that meet the needs of a fast industrial and managerial modernization. Concepts as: cooperation, engagement, autonomy and qualification. Changes are made which degrade the workâs way of been, so that, in a subtle way it also changes the workers creativity, his behavior and character. This process brings them to the thought they have control over the productive process, as well as the idea that the capital pay attention to their needs of social reproduction through life-quality programs
