RESUMO

This research investigate the practical ones of project currently used in São Paulo offices of architecture. Analyze the design process of the brazilian contemporary architecture, ahead of the increasing computerization of the architectural practice. Research already indicates that the work process suffers alterations with the gradual incorporation from computer science for the offices, mainly at the moment of development of the project. Ahead of this, this research if considers to investigate the initial moments of such process, when the idea is generated and this starts if to materialize, either under the form of sketches or physical and virtual models. The research is of bibliographical base, supported by cases of São Paulo offices, through the realization of interviews with its architects and analysis of its projects. It argues, also through bibliographical revision, the formation of a new idea of society, based on the information and an increasing digital culture - paradigm known for information society. The research approaches, still, aspects of design theory, with emphasis in traditional and digital processes of conception.
