RESUMO

In this paper, we point out the need for undertaking investigations oriented to insert basic notions of semiconductor physics in the secondary school science curriculum. The aim is to give support to the study of Electronics into Technology Area. In this sense, we present results of a research carried out with secondary school students (14-15 years), about theirs conceptions and learning difficulties about the electrical behaviour of semiconductors.
