RESUMO

The central theme of this text is to think the listening condition from the Media (telephone, radio, loudspeakers, TV, internet) as well as the sounding territories outlined by the recorded sound on our days, with the presence of new record, diffusion and codification devices of sound data. The main targets of this research are: 1) to make a map of technological development of media-sounding devices; 2) to revise bibliography about concepts like sounding object and acousmatic listening (Pierre Schaeffer), soundscape (Murray Schafer), territory and ritornello (Gilled Deleuze and Félix Guattari), power (Michel Foucault); 3) to understand podcasting and MP-3 phenomenon, the portable soundingmedias (mp3 player, cell phone) as well as the immaterial production created from them; 4) to think the power of the sounds from a territory as well as the promotion obtained by the listening, from the power perspective in Foucault, Deleuze and Guattari. The theorical corpus of this project is presented as conceptual revisions whose focus are the following points: technological development of sounding-media; acousmatic and reduced listening; soundscape and sound echologie; rithornello and sounding territory; mp-3 and podcasting; joints between sound and power. The research methodology follow the conceptual percurs and is divided in: 1) bibliographic research; 2) theorical material catalogation; 3) conceptual revision; and 4) joints with the theme. The way one pretend to follow the research takes to the use of concepts from difference philosophy (Deleuze and Guattari), in which a sonority is understand as information that, many times, do not pretend to communicate something but, even so, carry potencies and a-potencies that are contantly molding and affecting our sensitive capacities. In front of the hypothesis that sound production nowadays have been creating ways of making subjectivity through the sounding territories and sound-medias, the problem of the present research is to make a map under the condition of what we are designating: the listening condition
