RESUMO
This study is a subject of research examining the concepts of culture, work and time and priorities guiding the curriculum of EJA in the state of Parana and design that teachers who work with this method of teaching has these lines. Search on the records of the history of education regarding EJA, elements to understand that this form of education was marked by a model of suplência and a character, most of the time, compensatory, without a concern with more effective teacher training. The main focus of this study is to analyze the design that teachers have axes of guiding the curriculum of EJA in the state of Parana, to establish a discussion regarding teacher training, because even put their relevance, from the adoption of the Law of Guidelines and basis of Education, specific training, initial and continuous, still occupies little space in the national debate. The choice has been the search with a qualitative approach, through case study, completion of semi-structured interviews and documentary analysis. The study seeks to contribute to discussions about the practice of teachers based on the understanding that teachers must curriculum. The field of search involved two teachers, two educators, a Director of School that serves this type of education and a Regional Coordinator of EJA. It supports on the author, Paiva (1987), Arroyo (2005), Costa (1998), Hadad (2000, 2005), Pierro (2005), Silva (2003), Moreira (2006), and Silva Moreira (2005), Lopes (2006), Freire (1984, 1997, 2005), Forquin (1993), Bourdieu (2001), Veiga-Neto (2003) Souza 2007). The study indicated that teachers have ideas different from those expressed in the Guidelines for Curriculum EJA in the state of Parana and often had no conceptual understanding in relation to axes. Thus it is clear the need for policies for initial and continuing training for teachers who work with this method of teaching as a way of providing an education for Adults covering the reality of these subjects.
