RESUMO

This research objected to analyze if a community portal in the Vila das Torres can assist in the processes of the development of the citizenship and in the formation of a salutary and sustainable space. This study was delimited to a public of children and adolescents between 7 to 19 years old, that are community residents. The tool of Technology of the Information and Communication had for purpose to help in the social development of the citizen, contributing for its formation and providing the interaction with the way of life. The studied region is in the city of Curitiba, 2 km from downtown and has a population of 7.405 habitants. The research task was developed in partnership with the community with the focus interdisciplinary. One of the used methodologies was the Participation Territorial Management, applied in the survey of the net of actors, in the social and territorial analysis, the survey of the urban infrastructure data, in the construction of thematic maps, the quality of life of the environment for the construction of the local decisional environment, which is also formed by public, private institutions, entrepreneurs, traders, residents and some students and teachers of the State School Hildebrando de Araújo and of the Vida Nova Institute. Those share ideas, interests, experiences and alternatives of solutions, constructing the citizenship and the local sustainability. From these collection of information, was possible the analysis of the data for the edification of the community portal. The community portal was developed as a tool of Technology of the Information and Communication (TIC), that served as base for the organization of the social and territorial space of the community, in creating chances, in professional formation, in social and digital inclusion and as catalytic of information, data and its history.
