CIDADANIA: (re)pensando a práxis dos profissionais de um programa de atendimento às famílias em fase de aquisição

RESUMO

This research was developed at the Childrens, Adolescent and Family Integrated Service Center, in Childrens City, of São José City Hall, through the Social Development Secretary. São José City Hall, from 1997, has taken the responsibility, with the Social Development Municipal Secretary, of guaranteeing children, adolescents and their families of this district: assistance, to promote integration to work market and community life also protection aiming to salvage the familys citizenship through social programs, whose study focus was elected Citizenship Family Program. By the objective of taking new scientific knowledge, which could support as well as innovating the professional practice in the Health Science Area, in this case, in special Family Health, this study tried to reflect with the professionals, about the insertion of the citizenship concept and its everyday use. The methodology was the participative research, through the Psychosocial Workshops considering that the participative research proposal is the basis to generate a new knowledge and to be continuously constructed by the involved professionals and their practice; a democratic knowledge in terms of construction, publicizing and the use of it. The results revealed a conscious and engaged practice by the professionals, visualizing a propelling movement to the emancipator citizenship, although a lack, concerning social policies, and their relationship nets, which could bring the opportunity, autonomy and families emancipation through the support and service assistance.
