RESUMO
In this study, wastes from oil and gas offshore exploration and production activities were analysed by characterization of polymeric classes and thermal analysis tests. After that, the samples of wastes generated by offshore activities were submitted to pyrolysis in inert atmosphere at 450C. The resulting liquids from this thermal treatment were characterized by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (CG/EM) in order to evaluate their energetic potential. The identified peaks in the mass spectrum show the high generation of parafines and olefines.
