RESUMO

A dual-PLL d.c. motor control technique is described as a dynamical system. Existent methodologies for nonlinear dynamical system modeling and chaotic behavior analysis are exposed. A model that represents a system as a nonlinear, continuous differential equation is selected. The system is composed of a 2nd order linear process, a nonlinearity in the feedback and a periodic perturbation. The Melnikov Method is used to define the ehaotic region in parameter space. Results are verified via an analog simulation and in a real system
