RESUMO

Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis is the etiologic agent of caseous lymphadenitis in sheep and goats. This chronical course disease is characterized by the formation of granulomas in lymph nodes and internal organs, as a response of the host?s immune system against this bacterium who resists to the bactericidal action of fagocytic cells. Although the immune response involve both innate and acquired immunities, the nature of protection inducing antigens still is unknown. The present study evaluated the humoral immune response from samples of goat sera obtained of group of animals infected from the linhagem atenued T1, the linhagem virulented VD 57 the group control inocuoled from PBS-T. These groups had been folloied during 12 weeks and the levels of specific antibodies had been evaluated by five different indirect imunoenzimáticos assays using antigens MQD, TPP, BHI and the fractions Q5 and Q6. The sensitivity and especificidade of indirect test ELISA Q5 had been of 97,8% e, 95.6% respectively and the sensitivity and especificidade of indirect test ELISA Q6 were of 91,1% and 95,6%. The indirect tests ELISA MQD, Q5 and Q6 present a capacity of bigger discrimination enter the animals infectados with a wild ancestry VD 57 compared with the animals infectados with an attenuated ancestry T1.
