Avaliação da qualidade da agua subterranea e microbiologia do solo em area irrigada com efluente de lagoa anaerobia

RESUMO

The present project the influence of stabilization ponds effluent and water application on soil and changes in its microflora but the main aim was the evaluation of groundwater quality. This research took place by the assessment of microbiological indicators of pollution and a little physicochemical parameters both in soil and groundwater. The effluent application on soil happened directly and after desinfection by chlorine to microbial removal. The technique of application of effluent used was the shallow ruts like a post treatment and reuse of its nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus in maize crops (Zea mays). Furthermore the organic matter that remains on in the effluent improves the microbial metabolism in soil converting this complex organic matter to simple chemical forms assessable to crops. The main advantage of this system is reduce or eliminate the use of fertilizer and water supply necessity protecting the water bodies of degradation. Soil was controlled by microbiological analyses of total fungi and total bacteria and physicochemical analyses of moisture and pH in the beginning and the end of the experiment. Groundwater quality was assessed by microbiological analises: Escherichia coli, Streptococcus faecalis (Enterococos) and heterophic bacteria in the first harvest. In the second and third harvest was assess by physicochemical analyses: pH and electrical condutctivity. Besides helminth eggs and protozoan cists like a new microbiological analysis. The presents work data was compared to the present legislation and heal aspects. This work is part of a licence of the project CT-HIDRO 2001 financed by CNPq and Fundo Setorial de Recursos Hídricos. This project involves many faces of environmental engeneering. The results reached in this work suggests that the desinfection of efluente is necessary to the use of this water in irrigation and reuse
