AvaliaÃÃo da EvapotranspiraÃÃo de ReferÃncia (Eto) na Bacia Experimental do Riacho Gameleira â PE, utilizando LisÃmetro de Pesagem HidrÃulica e MÃtodos Indiretos

RESUMO

Evapotranspiration is very important to the water balance, originating increasing demands for quantitative information aiming the sustainable water resources planning. This work evaluates the reference evapotranspiration (ETo) in the experimental basin of the Gameleira rivulet â PE, using an hydraulic weighing lysimeter and indirect methods. The experimental basin of the Gameleira rivulet is a sub-basin of Tapacurà river, located on the Northeast of wasteland geographic region of Pernambuco State, on the UTM 245.186 E; 9.108,157 N; 248.694 E and 9.103,632 N coordinates in the central meridian 25, including the agrometeorological Station of the Federal Agrotecnical School of VitÃria de Santo AntÃo â PE. The device is an hydraulic weighing lysimeter with a mercury piston arrangement, surface area of 1,52 m2 and depth of 0,80 m. The statistic analysis was made in daily and five days time scales. The response of the hydraulic load cells to the massstandard applied in the calibration was linear, with coefficient of determination between 0,9993 and 0,9999 and standard error of the estimate between 0,60 and 1,45 mm dia-1 on the daily scale. The resolution of the lysimeter is 0,1543 mm of ETo. The measured positional error was 2,31%. The relation area of edge and surface is 18%. The calibration coefficient (k) of 2,13513 mm kg-1 defines that each mm of the ETo in the pan corresponds to a variation of manometer reading of 3,24 mm. The performance evaluation was performed comparing the lysimeter (as standard) and the indirect methods Class A pan, Camargo, Makkink, Solar Radiation, Jensen-Haise, Hargreaves-Samani, Blaney-Criddle, Penman and Penman-Monteith. The Solar Radiation method presented better performance in relation to the lysimeter and the standard method regarding to FAOâPenman-Monteith presented good performance in daily and five days time scales
