As atividades de produção textual em livros didáticos de português: caminhos e descaminhos na formação de produtores de textos

RESUMO

In the last decades it has witnessed in the area of writing, several interpretations about the concept of writing, about the objects and the ways of dealing this approach in order to allow a kind of learning that may provide best results and conditions. In an attempt to contribute towards this purpose, this research presents and analyses of the work developed with written production teaching by Portuguese textbooks used in the four last grades of secondary education, assessed by textbook national program (PNLD) in 2005. In order to evaluate the real participation of these textbooks for the development of language capacities needed for this knowledge, it will be carried out a survey of texts considered for this approach by 36 collections of textbooks assessed by PNLD, and an analysis about this approach presented by 3 collections, among the group of 28 collections approved by the program mentioned before. The development of analysis is based on a social-historical-discourse position, the theoretical frame from didactics approaches for teaching written language, in general, as well as the considerations of National Curricular Parameters (PCN), without the condition of being interpreted as a narrowly law, these parameters have been announced important changes in terms of written language teaching and there is a growing recognition that its orientations can afford urgent measures that have been happening through legislation as well in educational contexts and therefore have to be clearly demonstrated in the present Portuguese textbooks. Then, it will be possible to attest if and how these issues are being conducted with the proper respect that they deserve by these textbooks in order to provide opportunities for developing the language capacities that contributes for mastering written production needed in order to achieve considerable results compatible with the urgent demands nowadays and with the PCN parameters
