RESUMO
A national company uses the chemical treatment to prepare surfaces in the first stage of the process which makes the coating and finishing of metal parts that are included in sets of hydraulic and/or pneumatic actuators. This process is not automated, configuring a situation that exposes operators to physical stress and unhealthy atmosphere. The continuity of this situation may affect the physical integrity of these operators, compromise the quality of parts that were submitted to the treatment and harm the company. In this context, this work presents an architecture proposal for automating the step of chemical treatment used to prepare surfaces of machined parts. This architecture is based on the monitoring system, controller, sensors and actuators that are available in the domestic market. Satisfactory results were observed in tests taken on the first version of the representative prototype of this architecture, which show that this proposal is viable and capable of meeting the intended purpose.
