Apredizagem para mudança: competências necessárias para docentes da área de tecnologia da informação para uma nova prática educativa

RESUMO

Nowadays the acquisiton of competences (knowledge, attitudes, skills and values) gains importance for the society development. In this context, the universities are challenged to provide a formation that is capable to prepare the human being for life (personally and professionally). However, the adopted educational processes are not formatted to give account of this type of formation: new learning processes are necessary. This learning must go beyond the classroom environment and reach all the university dimensions: professors, pupils, controllers, administrative-technician. To restore a organizational learning process that links all the levels, requires a deep revision of the university modus operandi and of the performance of the people who constitute it. This study searches to identify which contributions would be necessary so that teachers of the Information Technology area could acquire new learning for a new educative practice. The research was carried through on the basis of the Organizational Learning background study and on referential of the Educative Model of the Monterrey Technological - Mexico, as well as on a case study carried through in the graduation courses of Computer science and Information Systems of the Brazilian Catholic University UCB. A questionnaire was constructed for the data and information survey. It was subdivided in three dimensions: teaching profile, behavior questions and the professors relation with the University. The results gotten for the research have demonstrated the necessity to develop competences in the teachers for a educational practice centered in the learning, in the pupil, in the team work and in didactic methods that support the collaborative learning. Concluding, it was verified with this research that the teaching formation programs must be constructed in a planned and intentional form, must be articulated institutionally and contain, from its conception until its practice, coherence between the principles, values and attitudes declared by the university as guides of its pupils formation.
