RESUMO

The main objective of the current research was to customize the Management of risks tool, so that it meets the parameters established in Decree, São Paulo, n0 46.076 of 31/08/2001, through the application of the Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), using the technique of Stated Preference SP (interviews), with specialists of the following areas: Quality, Security and Economy, so that it was possible to systematize and qualify the levels of risk, associated to the different factors that create fires derived from electric circuits of low tension, characterized in this research by dwelling constructions. During the tests it was decided that the analysis of risk and the rest of the Management measures should tackle with, using distinct ways, the constructions that meet and the ones that do not meet the requirements and legislations regarding electric circuits, nowadays in effect in Sao Paulo. The working up of PHA was accomplished in 3 stages: Bibliographic PHA, Preliminary PHA and Final PHA, the last one with the adoption of 3 outstanding points: conductor of electricity, equipment and component, that allowed the application of the tool PERT/CPM, so that it was possible to know the critical path of a fire derived from electric circuits of low tension. Control points were also identified in the electric circuit, which allow the generation of Mitigating Measures for the case study
