Aplicabilidade das argilas do município de Sapopema e Curiúva (PR) na indústria artesanal de cerâmica e suas implicações no contexto socioeconômico

RESUMO

The propose of this study has for objective the characterization of the clay material of the ceramist regions of the Sapopema city, in Paraná State, and the verification of the ceramic potencial of that mineral material, for commercial ends, aiming at the dynamization of the local economy in that region. Clays collected had been characterized through morphologic, grain sized, chemical, mineralogical and micromorphologic analysis. The analysis of chemistry for X-RAY Diffraction Analysis (DRX), Expansion Termal and Drying Shrinkage Curve. Such results will allow to find the degree of refractory, stability of burning, to determine the composition of the chemical elements and its amount, being indicated that types of material will have to be added in one determined composition for the attainment of a ceramic clay with lesser retraction linear retraction of burning, minor or greater absorption of water or percentile minor of loss to the fire. Whith the technician-scientific knowledge of substance cousin, reduction of substance wastefulnesses will occur a cousin, will have greater diversification of products, degradatios of costs and mainly the improvement in the product quality. Another item to be developed in this work is the environment question. The clay mining and firewood are the main factors of the negative environment impact of the activity potter. We intend thus, with the present work, to consider solutions and alternatives that they aim integrated at to unite the commintment with the development local and integrated of that region, following the real potentialities of the same one, the deramist activity, and being searched forms more efficient of exploration of natural resources.
