RESUMO

This Dissertation aims the presentation of a general analysis of the environmental physical impacts arised from the construction of dams and the creation of reservoirs. Presents also the suggestion of a series of measures to be implemented in order to avoid or to mitigate those impacts and the subjects that would be monitored.
