RESUMO

Due to the introduction of competition in the energy industry, it has become very important to determine and quantify the responsibility of each agent in transmission system losses, as well as to determine the participation of each generator to the loads. In this thesis, through the use of game theory, Aumann- Shapley method, and circuit theory are proposed methods that determine responsibilities consistent to these problems, reflecting the position of generators and loads on network in accordance with the circuit laws. The influence of active current component on reactive losses and demand, as well as the influence of reactive current component on active losses and demand are considered. Counter-flow and negative allocation issues are discussed. Numerical examples are presented and discussed in order to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed methods.
