RESUMO
It is accentuated, with the purpose of this present study a peculiar configuration, to wit, the agglomerations situated, symmetrically, along international limits, designated borders. Soon after, we selected a specific segment of this borderline space, to wit the abutting region between Brazil and Paraguay. We pursuit to describe the functioning and the dynamic of evolution of the production systems since the arrival of Tomaz Laranjeira, in the region known as Ponta Pora, giving beginning to the exploitation of Paraguay tea, as well as the intensification in the occupation of territory, that after decades of transformation, comes to the XXI Century, with defined contours by the economic history: with the intense utilization of Paraguayans arms, on the whole with Brazilian people, as Paraguayans immigrants, coming to compose the parcel known as "Braziguayans".
