RESUMO

A truth has various degrees and the truth has many facets. When we just take a fraction of it we start to hold an incomplete truth and hold human beings incomplete as such. The integral man however may be understood as a web of eight vertices. These eight dimensions of a person of flesh and blood constitute themselves in an organic dynamics and are I and : the world of life , the sensations and perceptions, the needs and the values, the knowledge, the will, the action, the unknown dimension and the core of psychic awareness. The complete truth is complex and paradoxical and it is not revealed through the rational search of the truth of objective knowledge. Although it is revealed through the study of the usage a concrete person does of his personal knowledge which is also based on objective knowledge. When facing the real issues of the world of life the person congregates in itself the realities, the sciences and the cultures. There are two ways of being and acting such encounter of what it is proper with what it is someone elses in a common space and time. The first and natural one is that we try to reduce all differences grouping the particular into universal toward a truth which allows us to survive to the extent that we manage to establish who we are by means of denying who the others are, by the abrupt or elaborated annihilation of what is different and unknown. The second consists in acknowledging the beauty of life, the possibilities a person has of becoming who he is to beyond the appearances created to respond to the values of the community which he belongs to. The integration of the diverse human faculties, which are in constant tension with one another and with our environment, determines a new comprehension of the world we live in. It is where we overcome the fragmentation of the speed of the formal changes of the vital substances through the understanding of what connects us all being human. The truth which connects us is that, in fact, one has got to find it out by himself for the proposal of self-knowledge of this paper is the starting point to a striking inner journey which escapes perception when we look the world of life just by the window of objective truth
