RESUMO

The thesis intitled the solidary and participative reinvention of the university: a study about nets of university extension in Brazil discuss the happened changes of the globalization, and, in a large extent, in reaction against it, and the possibilities of conceptual (re)building of the university extension, facing to this globalized society. From observation of experiences of articulateness of the university extension in net, the study investigates as these articulatenesses collaborate for the construction of the citizenship of their members and the society as a whole and if they present as a significant organizacional resource, as much for the angle of the personal relations how much for the angle of the social structuration. The research was oriented for the lines of direction of the research-action applying and adapting methods of the participant observation, of the anthropopedagogy and the free pedagogy.
