RESUMO

This research work includes all requirements stipulated by the concepts offered in the master program, aimed at farming as an alternative for local development in the region of Dourados, MS. The research examines the development of this kind of culture in Mato Grosso do Sul, with clear emphasis on the region of Dourados, where the rates of productivity are the best in the state and year after year, has been gradual and substantial improvements in both the productivity and in marketing. The work of the observation and analysis of the sparse existing documentation and the literature has composed for studying fish kill South-Grosso. It is used also, the experience in the area of local development by the author of the work, the observation made in the cooperative MSPEIXE, protagonist of the project and this work. From all this analysis led to the finding that the fish is still in primitive bases i the Great Golden has strong steps to culture, helping to improve production, their qualification towards excellence of fish to meet the technical regulations proposed by the buyer and consumer market. It concludes that although there are bottlenecks atravanquem and the possibility of developing faster, they are being tackled and its effects are less negative than in other seasons. The chances of success are palpable, as the wins are real and perceived spear fish farmers of the Great Golden a more advanced stage than their peers from the rest of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul
