RESUMO

RESUMO: Este artigo discute a organização do meio social educativo para a criação musical na infância, a partir da teoria de Vygotsky e de uma pesquisa realizada com crianças da educação infantil de uma comunidade ribeirinha da Amazônia. Os resultados demonstram que o meio social educativo organizado pela professora, envolvendo as relações das crianças com o tempo, espaços, materiais e pessoas, possibilitou a livre expressão e a criação musical. Conclui-se que o conceito de meio social educativo é potente para fundamentar um trabalho pedagógico direcionado à criação musical na infância.ABSTRACT: This article discusses the organization of the social educational environment for musical creation in childhood, based on Vygotsky’s theory and a research carried out with children in a community riverine of the Amazon. The results demonstrate that the social environment organized by the teacher, involving children’s relationships with time, spaces, materials and people, allowed the free expression and musical creation. It is concluded that the concept of social educational environment is potent to base a pedagogical work focused on the musical creation in childhood.
