RESUMO

This thesis seeks identify and analyze the configuration of Professional Education that was established in the state of Paraná between the 70 and 90 of the twentieth century, a period corresponding to the boom of economic development of the state. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze the configuration of vocational education in Paraná in the above mentioned period, focusing on the Entities SENAI / SESI. First, the study looks a vision of the economic history of Paraná. Then, the presentation of the evolutionary process of professional education in Brazil and Paraná. Finally, to list the profile of technical and vocational education, in the voice of employers SENAI / SESI. Specific goals will be responsible for establishing the socio-political and economic history that influenced the Paraná professional education, seeking to join the voice of business community, its manifestations and actions in pursuit of providing education that meets the labor market of that State.
