RESUMO

The adoption of new approaches to teaching has been recently explored by several researchers. In the context of teaching approaches, educational games have been used, which are believed to make the teaching learning process more attractive and productive. However, evidence on the impacts of the adoption of educational games in the area of Software Engineering is still not enough, if compared with other areas. Thus, the importance of empirical assessments of the effects of learning through the use of such an approach is highly relevant. This work describes the development of a framework to support the construction of experiments in the empirical evaluation of educational games in the area of Software Engineering. We describe the use of a framework for planning, execution and analysis of results of two empirical studies of the experiment type with the educational game X-MED v1.0. The complete experiment is described based on the use of this framework. An evaluation is carried out of the results in relation to the use of this framework, and of the results of the experiments themselves
