RESUMO

The aim of this thesis was to analyze the dynamics of APL s production of "Fashion’s racer" and its implications for economic growth in the sector and the regions north and northwest of Paraná. The methodology used in this study was based on a survey of primary and secondary information, carried out in two steps. The first refers to the characterization of the sector done by the analysis of secondary data obtained from the Database of State, available at the IPARDES, the Annual Relation of Social Information and System FIRJAN. The second stage the study refers to the field research companies in major cities of LPA s Clothing in northern Paraná, and interviews applied to support institutions. The results show that municipalities had greater interrelation of institutional and business, also had higher growth in the sector, which shows the contribution of garment sector for economic growth in northern Paraná, confirming an important feature for any productive arrangement local, which is the existence of a high degree of cooperation and trust between companies and institutions that comprise it.
