RESUMO

The main goal of this thesis is to understand how to express creativity in the activity of hearing and telling stories and also which subjective elements are involved in this expression in pre-school children. Therefore, it was analyzed indicators of creativity and subjective factors which lead to children creative actions in that activity. The intention is also to examine the contextual factors which interfere in the children creativity expression for the activity of telling stories, from the theory of subjectivity proposed by González Rey (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004) and the concept of creativity as a subjectivity process, developed by Mitjáns Martínez (1997, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2006). Different qualitative techniques were used based on the qualitative epistemological conception proposed by Gonzalez Rey (2002b, 2005). The empirical research was divided into two phases: the first contained a group of 25 children ranged from 3 to 6 years old, which were done 5 sessions of observation participatory and 5 sessions of telling stories. In the second stage of this first phase, the sessions of observation participatory and telling stories were examined and two children considered the most creative on the basis of imagination were selected. In the second phase of the research, it was presented two most creative cases of studies among the subjects. Taking into account the results, it was identified that creativity was expressed differently for each subjects. For younger children, three years old, the creativity was expressed through the extravagant ideas without concern about stories direction and connection, far from the reality. In the second case, the five years old child, it was observed a higher concern about sorting and systematization of ideas, with a comprehension of his creative product. In both cases, it was observed that creativity was related to the subjective constitution of each one, as well as, the social subjectivity constituted in social spaces in which children act.
