RESUMO

This work intends to research the learning process and the cultural meanings constructed by the theater realized as a group cultural production. Encircle the period from 60 to 80 and make evident the União e Olho Vivo theater group experiences, but not without written the history of some antecedents that has some similarity that had opened the curtains to the realization of the its joust shape. Wear of narratives interviews, testimony of the participants, playbills lectures, releases, photos and books, to raise up the corpus that by the lights of the categories and concepts of political culture, social learning and meaning and non-formal education reveal answers and analytical considerations to the question of the learning and generation of meaning in the cultural manifestations, by theater way of, to those that are directly involved.
