A construção de sentido na leitura por crianças de meios de letramento diferenciados

RESUMO

Oriented by a conception of a reading like a construction process of senses, this work of research has as objective to investigate the paper of world knowledge and of the experience of the life in the building of the senses in the reading of two groups of high-school students of the Fundamental Teaching (fifth leveI) in two schools, one private and other public. The data was obtained during the activities of reading accomplished in the classroom and through interviews in order to characterize the groups studied, besides to watch the factors that could interfere in the process of building of the senses in the reading. Afterwards, proceeded to analysis of the data in which I could see different ways of building senses in the reading of a same text, in one side, students with experiences in reading and another side students with experiences about the thematic contents accosted by the text. The results permit to make a conclusion that the knowledge of the world and the experience of life amplify the competence in reading, even in person that haven t permanent contact with writing text. However, in the school the teachers make smooth the practice of the reading and make it distant of the social reality of the pupils, principally that students from poor homes, and the resistance of some teachers that don t make a good use of the creativity of yours schoolboys that come from theirs histories, from theirs experiences and for don t form readers-pupils in the reality they forro scrambles-pupils. That way, the results of this research show the importance of the use in the practice of reading in the classroom texts associated to activities of speeches and to society practices of the pupils in order to form readers-pupils
