A dança no contexto da educação fisica : os (des)encontros entre a formação e a atuação profissional

RESUMO

Even though the activity or art of dancing is part of the Corporal Culture, it is seldom seen as one of the contents in the field of Physical Education to be worked in the scholar contexto This procedure on the schools part may be linked to the concept that Physical Education teachers have concerning Dance and their professional profiles taught at Universities. The purpose of this research is to diagnose the conceptual foundations that epistemologically supports the matter of Dance on teachers in their initial upbringing education and on Physical Education teachers who have been teaching junior-high school students. To reach this goal, a qualitative bibliographical and afield research was done. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews applied in two groups: The first ones were done with the Dance discipline teachers and teachers from disciplines which matters were germane to the Dance subject in the initial upbringing courses of Physical Education at the Parana States Universities, and the second one was done with Physical Education teachers who have been teaching juniorhigh students in public schools of Londrina-Parana. The analysis of the contents were oriented from the thematic analysis. The data collected brought a new field to be considered on the concepts that teachers have shown about Dance and their epistemological and educational purposes. According to the investigated reality we showed some perspectives to the knowledge of Dance in the junior-high school program, contributing to discussions regarding the reformulation and implement of intervention processes in the initial upbringing education as well as in the junior-high school programo
