1. Whitening efficacy of popular natural products on dental enamel

2. Pro-inflammatory mediators expression by pulp cells following tooth whitening on restored enamel surface

3. Improving shear bond strength of metallic brackets after whitening

4. Over-the-Counter Tooth Whitening Agents: A Review of Literature

6. Increased whitening efficacy and reduced cytotoxicity are achieved by the chemical activation of a highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide bleaching gel
Abstract Objective This study was designed for the chemical activation of a 35% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) bleaching gel to increase its whitening effectiveness and reduce its toxicity. Methodology First, the bleaching gel - associated or not with ferrous sulfate (FS), manganese chloride (MC), peroxidase (PR), or catalase (CT) - was applied (3x 15 min) to

7. Decomposition Rate, pH, and Enamel Color Alteration of At-Home and In-Office Bleaching Agents

9. Whitening toothpaste containing activated charcoal, blue covarine, hydrogen peroxide or microbeads: which one is the most effective?
Abstract The efficacy of whitening toothpastes is questionable and controversial. Clinicians, patients and researchers have expressed concern with whitening toothpastes due to the risk of wearing the dental structure and the potential for disappointment if the advertised cosmetic results are not achieved. Objective: This study compared the whitening performa

10. Tooth whitening affects bond strength of adhesive systems in enamel
ABSTRACT This study presents how the tooth whitening affects the bond strength and fracture type of three distinct adhesives — a conventional, a self-etching, and a universal adhesive — in enamel. Health bovine incisors were prepared by flattening the labial surface; part of these teeth was submitted to whitening treatment with a peroxide-based product (

11. Effects of experimental bleaching agents on the mineral content of sound and demineralized enamels
Abstract High concentrations of hydrogen peroxide can cause adverse effects on composition and structure of teeth. However, the addition of calcium and fluoride in bleaching agents may reduce enamel demineralization. Objective: To evaluate chemical changes of sound and demineralized enamels submitted to high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide containing fl

12. Improved antimelanogenesis and antioxidant effects of polysaccharide from Cuscuta chinensis Lam seeds after enzymatic hydrolysis
Cuscuta chinensis polysaccharide (CPS) was extracted using hot water and enzymatically hydrolyzed C. chinensis polysaccharide (ECPS) was produced by the mannase enzymatic hydrolysis process. The purpose of this research was to investigate the antimelanogenic activity of ECPS and CPS in B16F10 melanoma cells. The in vitro antioxidant activity was assessed by
