2. Avaliação de processos de compostagem em URC'S paulistas pela análise multicritério.
Diante do exposto, este presente trabalho apresenta uma avaliação operacional da sustentabilidade relativa de processos de compostagem nas URC's em operação no Estado de São Paulo (Gavazzi, Iguaçumec, Maqbrit e Stollmeier).

3. Avaliação de unidades de reciclagem e compostagem de resíduos sólidos urbanos do Estado de São Paulo.
Diante do exposto, o presente trabalho vem subsidiar a avaliação IQC aplicada nas URC's visando estabelecer um índice mais confiável e completo. O trabalho determina uma nova classificação das unidades pelo cruzamento de informações sobre a avaliação do IQC com as dos parâmetros analisados (valores fora do limite estabelecido).

5. Identification of thermophilic bacteria in solid-waste composting.
The thermophilic microbiota of solid-waste composting, with major emphasis on Bacillus spp., was examined with Trypticase soy broth (BBL Microbiology Systems) with 2% agar as the initial plating medium. Five 4.5-liter laboratory units at 49 to 69 degrees C were fed a mixture of dried table scraps and shredded newspaper. The composting plants treating refuse
