2. Algoritmos de navegação em tempo real para um sistema GPS de posicionamento relativo de precisão / Real time navigation algorithms for a percise GPS relative positioning system
The GPS signal is subject to several error sources in the measurements. The combined effects of these errors in the propagation signal cause a degradation in precision of positioning. However, using carrier phase measurements, it is possible to reduce positioning error up to 100 times, if compared with positioning using code measurernents. However, this type

3. Investigação Experimental da Adição de Energia por Laser em Escoamento Hipersônico de Baixa Densidade
The possibility of reducing the aerodynamic drag and heating of a hypersonic vehicle by addition energy to the air ahead of it is an attractive idea directed toward the hypersonic field. (Mach>5) and can be realized by laser induced plasma generation. In this context, this work presents original results in the experimental investigation of the energy addi

4. Evaluation of the data produced by the s band weather radars network located in central southern Brazil / Avaliação dos dados produzidos pela rede de radares meteorológicos de banda "S" localizados no centro sul do Brasil
Data from the weather radars located in central, southeastern and southern Brazil has been used by the CPTEC and DECEA since the agreement between both institutions was signed in 2004. Before this date the radar data was used by flight protection purposes only, and was not stored. Nowadays, the radar products derived from the scanning strategy of all radars

5. SPECIFICATIONS OF PROJECT FOR MEASUREMENT WIND SPEED USING ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCERS WITH THE METHOD OF DIFFERENCE IN STAGE / ESPECIFICAÇÕES DE PROJETO PARA MEDIÇÃO DE VELOCIDADE DE VENTO UTILIZANDO ANEMÔMETRO ULTRASÔNICO COM O MÉTODO DE DIFERENÇA DE FASE

6. Medição de múltiplas fases de nível de líquidos usando filtro adaptativo: técnicas, métodos e simulações / Measurement of multiple phases of level of liquids using adaptativo filter: techniques, methods and simulation

7. A low-mass neutron flux monitor for the n _TOF facility at CERN
A small-mass system has been developed for monitoring the flux of neutrons with energy up to 1 MeV at the new time-of-flight facility at CERN, n_TOF. The monitor is based on a thin Mylar foil with a 6Li deposit, placed in the neutron beam, and an array of Silicon detectors, placed outside the beam, for detecting the products of the 6Li(n, alpha)³H reaction.

8. Measurement of coherent Debye-Waller factor in in vivo deuterated C-phycocyanin by inelastic neutron scattering.
Quasielastic neutron scattering measurements of dry and 35% D2O hydrated amorphous protein powder of C-phycocyanin were made as a function of temperature ranging from 313K down to 100K. The protein is grown from blue-green algae cultured in D2O and is deuterated up to 99%. The scattering is thus dominated by coherent scattering. Within the best energy resolu

9. Detection of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin B via Biomolecular Interaction Analysis Mass Spectrometry
Detection of Staphylococcus enterotoxin B (SEB) by biomolecular interaction analysis mass spectrometry (BIA/MS) is presented in this work. The BIA/MS experiments were based on a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) MS immunoassay that detects affinity-captured SEB both via SPR and by means of exact and direct mass measurement by matrix-assisted laser desorption/i

10. High-resolution laser desorption mass spectrometry of peptides and small proteins.
Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) has been used with an external ion source Fourier-transform mass spectrometer to obtain the highest mass resolution ever, to our knowledge, demonstrated for laser-produced ions (m/delta m = 1,100,000 for [Arg8]vasopressin, 228,000 for melittin, and 90,000 for bovine insulin). The peaks in the isotope cluste

11. Protein Phosphorylation in Amyloplasts Regulates Starch Branching Enzyme Activity and Protein–Protein Interactions
Protein phosphorylation in amyloplasts and chloroplasts of Triticum aestivum (wheat) was investigated after the incubation of intact plastids with γ-32P-ATP. Among the soluble phosphoproteins detected in plastids, three forms of starch branching enzyme (SBE) were phosphorylated in amyloplasts (SBEI, SBEIIa, and SBEIIb), and both forms of SBE in chloroplasts

12. Solid phase capturable dideoxynucleotides for multiplex genotyping using mass spectrometry
We report an approach using solid phase capturable biotinylated dideoxynucleotides (biotin-ddNTPs) in single base extension for multiplex genotyping by mass spectrometry (MS). In this method, oligonucleotide primers that have different molecular weights and that are specific to the polymorphic sites in the DNA template are extended with biotin-ddNTPs by DNA
