The main purpose is to reflect on the relationships that could exist between sacrifice and city. To do this, we focus on the fundamental issue of what one and another may mean. The main question guiding this discussion is what elements of sacrifice can be found in that we call city? Not intended to provide a comprehensive analysis of these notions as deep and complex, but we will leave the primary meanings, from Durkheim, Mauss and Simmel, to focus our attention on the links.
