Abstract Taking as framework the importance of addressing conceptions about Nature of Science (NoS) and approaching the study of authentic science (scientific practice as is actually carried out in laboratories and other areas), we analyze the implementation of a didactic sequence using an autobiographic narration of an investigation about dengue.
