Periodontal ligament influence on the stress distribution in a removable partial denture supported by implant: a finite element analysis

OBJECTIVES: The non-homogenous aspect of periodontal ligament (PDL) has been examined using finite element analysis (FEA) to better simulate PDL behavior.
