ORGANOCLORATED AND ORGANOPHOSPHORUS PESTICIDES IN THE PELOTAS RIVER SEDIMENT

ABSTRACT Aquatic sediments are widely used for the evaluation of anthropogenic contamination due to their ability to adsorb particles and contaminants, making them historical environmental archives.
