New Use of an Absorbable Adhesion Barrier (INTERCEED) for Temporary Diverting Ileostomy in Minimally Invasive Rectal Surgery

ABSTRACT Objectives Sometimes, severe adhesion occurs between the rectus abdominis muscle and the ileal intestinal limbs after temporary diverting ileostomy. This can make ileostomy reversal difficult.
