The article proposes a plan for exploring the processes of women's health-illness-care in peasant communities in Puna jujeña, in northern Argentina. The phase in question runs from the early 1990s to the present time, a period concurrent with a deepening of the socioeconomic crisis that has impacted all spheres, including healthcare.
