La enseñanza de las ciencias sociales en la educación infantil en México: las representaciones sociales y la práctica docente de nueve estudiantes de maestra de educación infantil

This paper describes the representations of nine preservice early childhood teachers. The data was obtained through interviews and class observations. The findings were analyzed from Goodman & Adler's research (1985). According to the findings, the area of social studies is considered by the students as a "Nonsubject" and the social studies teaching is based on "techniques of human relations".
