Investigation of Mechanical and Metallurgical Properties of Friction Stir Corner Welded Dissimilar Thickness AA5086-AA6061 Aluminium Alloys

In this investigation, an attempt has been made to fabricate dissimilar thickness corner joint using non-heat treatable (AA5086) and heat treatable (AA6061) dissimilar aluminium alloys by friction stir welding process with plate thicknesses of 6mm and 4mm.
