Historia de las disciplinas, profesionalización docente y formación de profesores: el caso español

This text tries to analyze, through a Spanish case, the relationships existing among the history of school subjects (and, inside it, the history of textbooks), the process of the professionalization of teaching and teachers' training. First, the causes explaining the legal absence, in Spanish, of the history of school subjects in teachers' training, as well as some isolated initiatives on this theme are presented.
