Ferulate Anion Intercalated into Zn/Al Layered Double Hydroxide: A Promising Intercalation Compound for Inhibition of Leishmania (L.) amazonensis

Ferulic acid (FERH) is known to exert leishmanicidal action against Leishmania (Leishmania) amazonensis. In this study, the ferulate anion (FER–) was intercalated into a layered double hydroxide (LDH) for FER– delivery during an antileishmania in vitro test.
